The first comprehensive ISO standard on L&D metrics, published in June 2023, guides the selection and reporting of 52 key L&D metrics for large organizations and 19 for small/medium-sized organizations. The standard includes definitions and formulas for the recommended metrics and illustrations of the use of many of the metrics in simple tables. The standard, ISO TS30437, is the culmination of more than two years of work by ISO Technical Committee 260 Working Group 2 Metrics, of which David Vance, Executive Director of Center for Talent Reporting, is a member.
