Why do we wear seat belts?
To avoid the fine… right?
I really wish I embedded this video into Take the law out of compliance training, but I didn’t.
So here it is now.

Hi
I used a similar video to illustrate the point in this blog http://whatyouneedtoknow.co.uk/objectives-chasing-tail-next-big-thing/ which is about learning objectives and how often in compliance it’s not the facts that are really important but our attitude.
The video I used to make the point has been removed but there’s remake of it here http://youtu.be/RwDeDNaqUxU
That’s another good one, Andy. Odd that they would play the equal-gender-rights card somewhat irrelevantly, but it conveys its real message in the end. Human impact is what health & safety is all about. And I like the fact that they’ve highlighted the responsibility of the employee to contribute to the safe workplace – it’s not just something that “management” has to deal with.
I also like the information security video on your blog. Excellent point that people wouldn’t leave home without locking their front door, yet too many of us leave our technological devices virtually unlocked. The consequences are potentially worse.
