As I’ve mentioned before, I won’t be able to make it to the upcoming eLearning Guild Annual Gathering conference, but I’m already starting to figure out my plan of attack for keeping up with the conference from 2,400 miles away. If this conference is anything like past eLearning Guild conferences, many social media and social networking sites will be buzzing with updates on a regular basis. I plan on using the following sites/tools to keep up with everything:

What else? What am I missing?

And please let me know if you’ll be there – and if you’ll be blogging from the conference. I’ll be sure to publish a list of AG09 bloggers. Thanks!

Hi BJ!
You will certainly be missed, but its great to know of your virtual presence plan. Looks like you have the major bases covered. I think if you have missed anything. You will catch it on the twitter stream. For example if someone cranks up a CoverItLIve feed you’ll probably see them promote it via twitter. If I, or anyone else, gets a Ustream feed going I’ll be sure to twitter a link to that as well.
So many options…so little time 😉
Great post! I hope you will not be alone in virtual attendance.
Cheers!
Brent

You got it right with Twitter 🙂

3. Tracy Hamilton - March 2, 2009

Too bad. I’ll be blogging along while I’m there, so I’ll be happy to share my “notes” with you. It’s the least I can do since I read your’s from DevLearn.

We’ll miss you.

Tracy

I’ll be trying my hand at blogging while i’m there as well. If nothing else, i’ll be on Twitter pretty much the whole time.

Really, B.J.? With Google maps you couldn’t get any more specific than 2400 miles? Where are the details?! 😉

@Kevin – Hehe… Yes, you’ll have to settle with an approximation. I didn’t want to show my home address to everyone on the internet. I’m sure there are TONS of eLearning Weekly groupies out there who would have mobbed me… 🙂
