Many of us can’t imagine starting our day without a cup of coffee or tea. And with plenty of travel coming up, it will be necessary for those catching early morning flights for a conference or surviving the afternoon slump in between session breaks. No matter what event you’re at, the caffeine stand brings people together. Read on to see where you’ll find us and suggestions on what to order for your morning fix at each location. Let us know if you’ll be at any of these upcoming events, as we’d love to set up a time to grab a coffee (or your beverage of choice) and chat.

At LTUK, order English black tea with milk

Tea drinking is ingrained in the culture in England – just make sure to pour your milk the “right way.” You’ll find Tammy and Chris sipping with tea saucers at the Learning Technologies UK Conference April 17-18, 2024. Our team will be at stand F20 with our sister LTG companies. Be sure to hear Chris Tompkins’s bite-size expo session Thursday, April 18th from 10:40 AM – 10:55 AM BST where he’ll help you choose the best learning standard to future-proof your tech stack.

At LHRCon, order iced coffee

The following week, Tammy will head to Orlando for the Learning & HR Tech Solutions Conference on April 23-25. Central Florida’s warm temps call for iced coffee in hand and Joffrey’s is the go-to place especially if you’re visiting an amusement park. Catch Tammy Rutherford’s session on “Mapping and Organizing Your Learning Ecosystem” Tuesday, April 23rd from 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM EDT. During the session, she will explore the complexities of learning ecosystems, such as how tools work with one another (or don’t), how to centralize your content and ways to manage the wide variety of inputs and outputs from each tool.

At ATD, order French-style chicory-infused coffee

New Orleans is known for its specialty chicory-roasted coffee, so be sure to stop by Cafe du Monde and indulge in some beignets while at the ATD International Conference & Expo May 19-22. Chris Tompkins, Joe Donnelly, Ryan Pfeiffer and Alicia Pack will be at booth 2717 along with our sister LTG companies, so stop by and say hi. To kick off the conference on Sunday, May 19th, Chris is speaking on a panel with our long-time customer, AICPA & CIMA on “Courage & Commitment to Change: A Modern Learning Transformation Journey” at 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM CST.
