In his example, RJ showed us how to embed the variable into a caption, using the syntax $$myVar$$ so that instructions to the user could use the recorded name, instead of a non-personal command. Alternatively PowerPoint files can be linked, so that edits to the source PPT file are reflected in the Captivate project.
