Asking the right questions during design to track down elusive content

Bottom-Line Performance

I felt good identifying my first topic: designing an e-learning course with little to no content in sight, and then…do you know what happened next? So, I did what I always do…begin the “content inquisition.”. My first step is to focus on desired outcomes : what do learners need to know and/or know how to do after completing the course? Will they do their jobs differently, and if so, how? How will THIS content help learners DO that?
