Microsoft Office’s vehicle for presentations, PowerPoint, is the de facto standard. For example, a PowerPoint file with a lot of slides becomes bulky in file size – this makes it hard to distribute to large numbers of users. There are other formats such as AICC, xAPI, but SCORM is still the dominant player.

Rebuilding in Microsoft PowerPoint. PowerPoint records the audio and the mouse pointer by default. To turn them off, deselect Audio and/or Record Pointer on the Control Dock.
