Supports AICC and SCORM. Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!)

AICC (Aviation Industry Computer-Based-Training Committee): The first official eLearning content standard, AICC was developed by the Aviation Industry CBT Committee in 1993 as a CD-ROM based standard. A predecessor to SCORM, AICC was difficult to work with and many steps were required to get content in the format running in an LMS.

Is Captivate 7 suited for game-based learning? It cannot compete with Adobe Flash or other platforms based on programming languages. Animations are treated similarly — while the support for basic animation does exist, developers will not be able to create complex animations (for example, syncing illustrated avatars to audio).
