It cannot compete with Adobe Flash or other platforms based on programming languages. Support for branching has existed within Captivate since its early versions, but the visual execution of this feature has always made me long for more. Does Captivate 7 support custom programming? AICC, and the latest newcomer, Tin Can.

Republishing is a good option if you have legacy Flash eLearning content that was developed in an older version of an authoring tool. Simply republish the course using the latest version of the authoring tool. PowerPoint is easy to use, even if you’re a bit of a software novice – no programming know-how needed! What a pain!
