While Captivate is great for software simulations, I think Articulate is better for soft skills projects and tying the whole thing together. For example, I'm currently working on a project where branching scenarios lead into software simulations.

One Acrobat.com service I thought about was having a light-weight version of Adobe Captivate as part of Acrobat.com that would enable customers to do simple screen recordings or even software simulations, that could be shared and posted everywhere, on YouTube for example, or even right on Acrobat.com somehow.

The objects in the CPVC timeline have no real color codin g (for cptx projects, this will be explained in a later blog post): everything is blue, the Video/Audio track is bit different but still blue. You can embed a Video Demo in a normal cptx-project. A selected video clip or object will be in a more saturated blue.
