In my last post on eLearning Outsourcing, I mentioned the various advantages of eLearning outsourcing. When meeting prospects, I often face this objection – “ We have tried outsourcing in the past but have had a real bad experience and (hence) we are not willing to take the risk again “ What they fail to understand is that, in most of the cases, the problem lies much beneath – improper vendor selection. So, how to select a vendor for elearning outsourcing?

Microlearning: Fab or Fad?

Generally, the term “microlearning” refers to micro-perspectives in the context of learning, education and training. Note that microlearning refers to an activity (learning) dealing with small learning units (products). Microlearning itself is not a product, which will be important to keep in mind as more vendors enter the microlearning space and increasingly offer to to sell microlearning (rather than a microlearning suite, library, videos, or other products).
