Interactivity in Software Tutorials?

At this moment the biggest problem with software simulations are the slides which cannot be interactive because they show mouse movements/scrolling/dragging. Those are SWF-based but will be converted to MP4 when publishing to HTML5. Standalone version (exe): not sure what the future will be when Flash Player has died.
