I think COPs belong to functional leads (eg CFO) but the social artistry of managing them, L&D should be able to advise on. Moderator (Clark Quinn): CoP is NOT training, but 'training' (learning) folks have a role in making it work. Moderator (Clark Quinn): there'll be a role for design, context is critical.
