And now, because of eLearning Learning , I have a much better way to track these things over a much more interesting content sets. For example, we see terms now at the top like Learning Management System , AICC , SCORM. I still maintain that it's helpful to keep an eye on these things. Seems so long ago. :) How about 2005 ?

Two situations recently have got me thinking about e-learning authoring tools. Think Word, PowerPoint, mass market audio and video editors, wikis and other simple content management tools - applications that we use every day and which can be applied with some success in learning contexts.
