What about PENS or some other compliance standard? Unless you must have PENS or one of the other compliance standards, it is not needed. PENS was created by AICC as an alternative to SCORM 2004, 3rd edition. . Rather, “partner&# is a dual revenue steam for the vendor and their partner – a business relationship deal.

How many of you have seen vendors respond to your questions? A: Virtually every LMS vendor out there in the marketplace provides these features. Congrats, you are probably looking at less than 10 (based on my LMS directory which contains 475 vendors). Smart App for TV – One LMS vendor. SCORM/AICC/PENS/IMS.

Previously all this data and information was stored using pen and paper, the bulk of files and documentation, and various other manual processes. There are various ERP software available for educational institutions, but institutions must understand the true usage of an ERP system and a comparison between a few ERP vendors is also important.

Compliance – but just because a vendor says they have it, they be turning items that really aren’t into something that works. Built-in authoring tool – If you are expecting something like Storyline, forget it – not there yet; unless vendor has a partnership with an authoring tool vendor – example: Claro.
