Qarbon Pros: Less File size. Qarbon seems very easy to use. There are quite a few Software Simulation Tools out there. And I may eventually, but not initially, want to be able to track them under an LMS, i.e., have SCORM tracking. I have been looking into various tools. Here are some pros and cons I found about them.

The version you want is the Pro version which comes with Corel Paint Shop Pro, Qarbon Viewlet builder. Includes assessments, simulation capability and wizards. Don’t be discourged by their web site – it isn’t ideal, but the product is cool. Solid set of features. It doesn’t output to HTML5, though. #8

Tools for creating interactive tutorials (the bulk) as opposed to those that specialise in producing assessments ( QuestionMark ), 3D games (Caspian's Thinking Worlds ), software simulations (Captivate, Qarbon ViewletBuilder , Camtasia ) and scenarios ( RapideL Discover , Captivate).

Are you coming up with "simulations" or more complex exercises to teach the soft skills? However, before you jump all over the 383 per finished hour that the vendor is citing, note that Kapp includes Soft Skills Simulations that ranges from 320 to 731 per finished hour. For example, how much rewrite of the original course will be done.
