udutu - The price is right, free if you don’t use their server. udutu. udutu work screen. I like udutu’s encouraging course creators to use the assessment tool for learners to self-assess, rather than scoring with it. The small “course&# I created took 2 to 3 hours and was based on a pre-existing PowerPoint, an udutu suggestion. So udutu might work for some purposes, but not for my current ones

MyUdutu: One of those best kept secrets in e-learning authoring tools

Recently, I’ve been exploring collaborative web-based options for a report I’m writing and was reintroduced to MyUdutu (from Udutu). I spent an hour or so with Roger from Udutu looking at their authoring tool and have to say I’m really kind of blown away as to its capabilities. Ability to save your courses so you don’t freak out about losing courses that exist on a server other than your own. Can also be installed on your server.
