My job was to help author SCORM 2004, focusing on how to develop content that would work in SCORM systems. I worked with ADL from 2003-2006 and participated in the Technical Working Group afterwards. The LRS could be the part of an LMS that receives data from an eLearning course. It was a no-brainer to take the job.
