I review my list of elearning blog feeds every morning and it would be easy to think that the elearning world is obsessed with SL/Virtual Worlds and Personal Learning Environments as the next-generation LMS. I see lots of interesting web 2.0 You are right, the ‘edge’ is not an easy thing to pin down.
