On 11-18-2010, I was part of an online panel discussing whether the LMS as we know it is dead and if not, what is the evolution of the LMS. Majority of employees access a LMS or Learning Portal out of the workplace. We are sick of the RSS feed and then super lame YouTube links. Oh, yeah, social learning.

Social learning? If they were doing it, Facebook like page, a crummy blog that looks nothing like a real blog, a Twitter like feed, maybe RSS, text chat and YouTube functions and upload/download angle. A significant number of vendors, reported higher revenue and sales numbers in 2010, then in 2009. Emerging Technology?
