In 2012 it has been all about collaborative/peer review with authoring products, and it still will be in 2013, but the avatars/actors with/without backgrounds are going to be in “fuego” Where can it go?

Of course it can still look lame – the course that is – but that isn’t because of the product, rather umm (well you know who).

Authoring Tool Market – What I am seeing

I for one, like that because it has run its course (look a pun!). One vendor has a gaming raceway for quizzes. I remember pushing my pen around my paper in junior high creating a race game too. Another vendor includes a FAQ under gamification – why not give everyone a free rock with that? Audio Editing.

PowerPoint – Ability to integrate or use PPT in your courses. Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash. The latter is slowly gaining speed, which is an advantage to LMS vendors who have a CAT in their own product – which is SCORM,PENS/IMS compliant.
