SCORM won the hearts of L&D folk everywhere, when it was invented by the ADL in 2000. SCORM solved this headache by providing a standard software specification that worked across all learning technology. SCORM is no longer up to the job because its ability to track learners’ behaviour, preferences and interests is limited.
