Just about that time, I came across Dave Mozealous ’ blog titled “ How I created a custom Articulate Presenter skin in less than an hour. My first custom skin! This is a VERY basic custom player. Many of the default Articulate player attributes and functions have been turned off.

And with that I get to see some of the ridiculous checklists that some IT groups create to compare software. Usually they place more value on number of features (regardless of their real value) than on how those features are used to create the online courses. Another good example of a form-based tool is Articulate Engage.

Keeping Up” features : Add FLV video, branch using the player’s Next/Back buttons, hide slides in the navigation panel, disable navigation on individual slides, and customize/translate text labels. Supports ActionScript 3 (but I wouldn’t be surprised If Articulate fixes that soon). Overall Advantage Articulate: Engage.
