Adobe recently released eLearning Suite 2 comprising of Captivate 5, Flash Professional CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, Photoshop CS5 Extended, Acrobat 9 Pro, Presenter 7 (available on Windows only), Soundbooth CS5, Bridge CS5, Device Central CS5 in it. Dreamweaver CS5 comes with improved PHP support for custom classes.

Last week, while justifying Apple’s refusal to allow Flash player on iPhone/iPad, Steve Jobs wrote– “ New open standards created in the mobile era, such as HTML5, will win on mobile devices (and PCs too) ”. To create animations with HTML5 developers have to code animations using JavaScript and CSS. in Flash Based eLearning Development?

They are not stand alone e-learning tools, but together allow me the ability to create effective e-learning courses. Adobe Flash - An essential tool for creating highly interactive elements, including animation, games, immersive learning simulations, and almost anything else you want if you can manage writing or finding the actionscript.

The ActionScript for the player is written in version 2.0 Adobe Dreamweaver or any Text Editor: We won’t need a text editor until Lesson III as we will be making adjustments to the.xml files. I use Dreamweaver simply because it’s part of the Adobe Suite that I use, but Notepad or Wordpad will work just fine. 8) should be fine.

Thankfully the wonderful Adobe engineers have been able to plug this gap in Captivate, allowing us to now create clean vector shapes in our projects. Developers can create template projects that contain slides with placeholders for various elements. No gradient fill yet, but alpha transparency is supported.
