Im still a really hands-on person. Or maybe Im just too lazy and poor. Now, Im not linking to John just because he is full of praise of me (which is nice and somewhat embarrassing, I must admit.), My truthful answer is that Ive heard of some of these theories and theoreticians. I have never taken a course in adult learning theory. My current business card says Im a "Manager of Instructional Design". I have learned everything I "know" about instructional design and teaching by doing. Got accepted to a Masters program for secondary ed, but deferred. But at this point, Im here to stay.
