Companies should be wary of the value a “free” learning platform can deliver and alert to the costs quickly accrued in maintaining, updating and supporting an LMS without a vendor.

The first official eLearning content standard, AICC was developed by the Aviation Industry CBT Committee in 1993 as a CD-ROM based standard.
