My job was to help author SCORM 2004, focusing on how to develop content that would work in SCORM systems. Any innovation that could shut down as many companies as SCORM did was something I wanted to master. In layman’s terms, xAPI is a means of sharing a record of activity about some piece of content or media with another system.
