Two situations recently have got me thinking about e-learning authoring tools. In the 1980s came TenCore, Wicat, Microtext (in the UK, for the BBC Micro) and (modesty does not preclude me from mentioning) one that I created myself called ProCAL. I do remember when the situation was a little simpler.

RapideL-i

I've been taking a look at an early version of RapideL's new online e-learning authoring tool, which they are calling RapideL-i. In Europe, Atlantic Link and Mohive are currently the online tools of preference and both appear to be reliable and extremely easy to use.
