Cathy, Youre raising some really important issues about SL that I havent seen discussed before in the e-learning/edublogosphere. If 3D synchronous learning is indeed the wave of the future, Id say this gender divide in SL speaks to the need for more corporately-styled virtual worlds such as Protosphere by Protonmedia or OLIVE by Forterra.
