I've not really seen good examples of business cases (future ROI) for using these tools. Even Thomas Davenport, author of Thinking for a Living, has blasted these tools: blogs have detracted from productivity, not increased it. I can safely say that I have gotten nothing out of the site. Still, this is a somewhat uphill battle.
