Mobile Learning. LMSs – Finally vendors took notice. Sadly though many still are in the dark on true mobile learning – i.e. not accessing their platform via a mobile web browser. Authoring Tools – With only a small sample of vendors that are SaaS based, pickings are slim. Upside Learning.

One vendor right off the bat is Unicorn Training. Video Learning Platforms will accept video from any mobile device with a camera, and DV/HD cameras. . 3840 pixels by 2160 line with an aspect ratio of 16:9 to give a comparison, the top resolution for HD is 1920 pixels by 1080 lines with an aspect ratio of 4:3.

But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. True, smartphones are here to stay, and they are wonderful for a lot of amazing things, but from a true m-learning standpoint, I just do not see the engaging interactive value here, in comparison to other mobile devices.

Same issue occurred with various other alternative browsers – many of which were built on similar IE like platforms, uh, Opera was not. Hopefully, every vendor will return back 100%. If it is, then kudos to those vendors for taking a huge leap in moving forward in the market – it is much needed. It is a video.
