Unfortunately a lot of elearning fails to exploit this opportunity with our need to score and track everything. Because of this, we’re motivated to pass tests and getting good scores and not always focused on the learning process. When my boss sends an email detailing new plans, he doesn’t follow it up with a quiz.

Typically these notes are then reported in a spreadsheet, a Word doc, via email, or occasionally through a more robust tracking system. These components are then able to track user input (say, the selection of a value in a combo box) and utilize that input elsewhere in the project. No word in when at this point.
