In the webinar, I brought up how LMS vendors were themselves perpetuating the myth of the bad things of social media (which is a necessary component of social learning), so, rather than identify the facts and data to potential clients who are concerned about social media and thus social learning, they instead do not include it in their system.

Feature sets – they have to be more than PPT to Flash or add an audio clip and video clip to the course. Mobile Learning/HTML5 output – doesn’t hurt and has to be considered. It pitches that it is a m-learning product because it supports HTML5. It doesn’t output to HTML5, though. #8

A couple of rapid content authoring tool vendors are incorporating HTML5 features in their tool, which can be used on tablets, and of course the iPad. 3 Social Learning. Who is using those things?

While 99% of the public, believes that the Ipad is the only player in the market, it is not. Two cameras for capturing video and audio, 3 megapixel web cam, 5-megapixel LED flash camera. APIs, Open Source, HTML5. Other -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Flash. Not exactly, interactive. And more or on the way.
