Screencasting can be a little bit daunting when faced with all the "techie" jargon like aspect ratios, codecs and frame rates. A pdf storyboard can be downloaded from: [link]. Your screencast needs to be promoted so use Youtube, Social media and other free hosting sites - Vimeo, Screencast etc. Add PiP, callouts etc later.

Most them work perfectly in one of two aspect ratios: 1:1 (square). I usually save in PNG format. Since there are two aspect ratios, I create two PowerPoint files for my Rise graphics. I also want the window to be 4:3 aspect ratio. So I need to figure out what the proper dimensions are for a 4:3 aspect ratio that is 1096 pixels wide. Calculate the 4:3 aspect ratio using the 1096 width. I use the aspect ratio calculator. A 4:3 aspect ratio starting with 1096 is going to be 1096×822.

The ideal thumbnail size is 1280 × 720 pixels with a minimum width of 640 pixels, and the ideal ratio for YouTube players and previews is 16:9. In a previous post I mentioned a few free (or low cost ) graphic editors if you don’t already have one. 5 Free Desktop Image Editors. 5 Free Online Image Editors. If you hold SHIFT and then click and drag from the corner, the image will scale up or down without changing its aspect ratio. Group the shape and picture.

Is Google Slides free? Is Google Slides free? Google Slides is free to use (along with other G Suite offerings such as Docs, Drive, Sheets and more) as long as you have a Google account – which is also free. Changing slide size: Google Slides defaults to the standard widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio.
