I dont do any programming. I think my dinosaur status as an instructional designer stems from the fact that Ive always worked for e-Learning vendors where the programming, graphics, and ID are distinct, separate job roles. Rapid e-Learning tools make building courses almost as easy as writing documents in Word.

Theres nothing in ADDIE about learning objects or the presentation of information. Most e-Learning vendors mention ADDIE or some form thereof on their websites as if it was a real science about creating effective learning. I dont think ADDIE and Gagne are really in the same class.
