While I am sure that occurred at WOLC, the ones I gazed at, which were presented by vendors, had no sales pitch whatsoever, rather it was all about a specific subject tied to e-learning. I rarely rave positively about an ILT session, but if I was in the UK and wanted to do a team building event, I would hire these folks.

You want a system that has e-commerce that accepts PayPal, can generate invoices and track sales - pickings are limited – specifically because of the “generate invoices” and “track sales” You desire a system that offers PENS - Choices are dropping like flies after you whack them with your fly swatter or newspaper.

Thus, if you are training people, you are no longer limited to using a mobile device with a camera, nor having to rely on geolocation – a big win. If you are still a huge fan of ILT or believe a blended learning approach is necessary, why stick only to PowerPoint, handouts and long talks? Non compliant – i.e

A: Virtually every LMS vendor out there in the marketplace provides these features. The ones who may not are those who identify themselves as “Training mgt systems and alike” – because they are really focused on the course authoring tool and are not a LMS in the true sense of the word. SCORM/AICC/PENS/IMS.
