I cautioned everyone about the 1% Rule that says in collaborative environments, e.g., discussion groups, for every 100 people who sign up, 90 will lurk, 9 will participate in a limited fashion, and 1 will regularly post content. Dion Hinchcliffe’s Pragmatic Enterprise 2.0

today announced an alliance with Socialtext and Asuret called Pragmatic Enterprise 2.0. Though the tools themselves are usually easy to acquire, creating the right environment for demonstrable success is much more challenging. I hope Dion Hinchcliffe’s approach is successful, but it’s too early to tell.
