To begin, open the Snagit Editor and create a new image. There is a setting you will need to enable so the Snagit Editor does not minimize when you start your capture. In the Snagit Capture window, go to Tools > Program Preferences. Click on the Program Options tab and uncheck Hide Snagit before capturing.

While it may sound fancy, people use telestration all the time. Snagit makes it easy to mark up and talk right over top of a still image. With Snagit, you can simply talk and draw like you would if marking up a physical document with a pen then send it to a colleague or student. Just like a broadcaster does.
