Some of it may sound a little technical and geeky but it’s what it does and I checked but there’s no way I could make it sound simpler (or normal!) It uses PowerPoint to develop rich mobile content and also has plug-in to add surveys, quizzes, assessments, and rich media such as streaming video, ePubs, and Adobe PDFs.

Saltbox – [link] It is a LRS – learning record store – which shows activity streams, enables you to achieve badges and a few other items, including stats. Sounds intriguing. Nevertheless it includes such components as an activity stream, reviews, ratings and comments with the courses. Nice design.

Avatars sound very cool and they are being used. One such vendor is Rapid Intake. But in order to utilize Flash, you have to go to the settings in the browser and turn on something called Flash streaming. Sadly, for whatever reason, the feature was not in the demo. Photon offers great capabilities.
