I huge kudos to Thinking Cap, who has a wonderful list of organizations that hand out awards. Granted it does not include bloggers (I hand them out- more on that in a sec) or believe it or not – other vendors, but it is a nice list nevertheless. In the LMS market alone, there are over 395 vendors. Submission.

Any vendor, who includes a set storage fee, should be able to provide you a range of number of courses – with examples and video/audio files – if you plan to use them. If you think your 3K system is going to match the look and feel of a top notch 45K system, be prepared to be massively disappointed. AJ LMS - UI is average.

After over a year of looking and talking with several LMS vendors, I finally chose an LMS - ClickCourse from Rapid Intake. True, many do a lot more and offer some impressive features for managing learning and learners, but in the end I just wanted SCORM tracking at a fair price. ClickCourse met those criteria at the best price.
