I used it in 1999, to teach a 100% online journalism course in the University of Nebraska system. In 2000, I built my own LMS for a company, and was hired to create an e-learning program for customer training, as well as run a training division with ILT still in play (blended). Is Kirkpatrick still in play? So, no 640 there.

Books are no better because they ignore that times have changed, that an increased percentage of people have to create the content, typically not by choice, and terms such as Kirkpatrick are as foreign as the former members of the Warsaw Pact, let alone what was the Warsaw Pact? Kirkpatrick. That was in 2000.
