2004 3rd edition? Because if you are using a content authoring tool that is SCORM 2004, then you must find a system that is at least 2004. What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. What SCORM compliance are you?

OR you can create courses SCORM 2004 courses within their tool which is in the “cloud&# and do the same thing. ADL SCORM 2004 CERTIFIED. Also SCORM 1.2 & AICC. SCORM 2004/1.2, Game based learning. SCORM 2004/1.2 and your LMS is SCORM 2004, it will work, since SCORM 2004 is backward compatible.

SCORM compliance and/or AICC – there are tools out there who support neither – but that is not the norm and there are a few tools out there who also support PENS. Multiple learning paths or branching. and SCORM support and learning objects. Add documents, materials including ability to attach to courses.

Many people today prefer 3rd party authoring tools and in fact, I recommend that route rather then using a vendor’s built in authoring tool. Compliance Standards: SCORM 2004, SCORM 1.2, SCORM, AICC. Offers e-commerce module: Yes. It’s all in the Details.

It isn’t, but there are a few vendors starting to add it to their interoperability standards and yes a few LMS vendors too. PENS was created in 2005 by AICC as a new interoperability standard. In my directory, I found 3 RCAT vendors who list on their site that they accepted this standard. E-Learning 24/7.
