Typically these notes are then reported in a spreadsheet, a Word doc, via email, or occasionally through a more robust tracking system. In his example, RJ showed us how to embed the variable into a caption, using the syntax $$myVar$$ so that instructions to the user could use the recorded name, instead of a non-personal command.
