We will post a blog on our corporate blog with the details within two weeks. I addressed the topic of learning objectives in my blog on output learning and I tried to work from there. Corporate learning always starts with a problem or a challenge. At easygenerator we are in the finishing stages of our latest version. This is the first version I had a say in, so I’m quite exited, a real milestone. We started working on it at the beginning of the year.

Turns out the #blogchat group decided to dedicate some of their Sunday nights to offering critiques of one another's blogs. Participants wanting feedback submitted their blogs for consideration; 4 were chosen this time with a promise that others would be considered soon. Those who offered their blogs up for review got a good deal of feedback useful particularly for them, but also for others in the group. Something really interesting happened on Twitter last night.

A portfolio of learning assets was created, which included ‘above the line’ learning interventions (instructor-led classroom and online classroom) as well as ‘below the line’ (e-learning, email and phone support, with corporate social networking groups). Perhaps the most used feature of the system is the discussion forum, although there is a top-down element as well through corporate blogs, news and videos.

2012 in retrospective: top 10 posts

Challenge to Learn

In this post I will have a look at 2012 based on the top 10 post of this blog. On his corporate blog is an interview with him on SAM. I’m happy to see that this blog is growing (almost 250% up in comparison to 2011) although that is not my goal. My blog remains mainly a place for me to put done notes and thoughts, but it is nice that people appreciate this. It is the time of the year to look back and to make plans for the new year.

I often will use this technique when I run into a new company to see if anyone is blogging about it and generally what is associated with it.
