Desktop authoring tools as an entire industry are awful when it comes to supporting Mac OS. Mac OS market share is 7.1% As of mid 2012, 58 million people used Mac OS as their primary OS. In the first four days of the latest version (July 25, 2012) of MAC OS, Apple sold 3 million units. I am guessing a lot.

Added bonus – supports Mac OS too, and has an app in the Mac store. 19 Zenler Studio - I liked this product last year (2012) and I still find it quite favorable. FT- Another product I liked in 2012 and still like in 2013. It features templates, supports SCORM and supports English, French and Arabic. Collaboration.

Early Signs for 2012. This will become one of the biggest features in 2012 – especially with people wanting to create simulations without being an e-learning developer. By the end of 2012, I’m forecasting that SaaS will finally overtake Desktop – but it won’t be by much. Works on Mac.
