Fear Factor – There are some vendors out there, they shall remain nameless, are still pushing the idea that if you move your data it will be lost. Go back 13 years and you will see that nearly every vendor allowed unlimited courses into their systems. Fast forward to 2012. They just don’t advertise it. Bottom Line.

Because the company was using Windows 2000 (in 2012 no less) and the LMS vendor did not support Windows 2000. Did the insurance company’s lead tell the vendor what they were using? Did the vendor ask? Certain browsers work better than others; although vendors will tell you not so. So who’s at fault?

When I spoke to numerous vendors on tablets, I kept hearing the same song, “we aren’t hearing it from our customers, OR we are looking in the future OR perhaps in 2012″ It was smartphones, you silly man. Who is going to read that?).
