Just as driving to the video rental store to get a movie has been replaced with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and other streaming movie providers, business software now resides firmly in the cloud. Now it’s viewed as passé. That’s gone.

What is an LXP and why do I want one?

A colleague of mine attended a session this past week at ATD that covered LMS, LXP and LCMS (why LCMS was included? These two vendors are EdCast and Degreed. Getting back to being unaware, I find the same issue with a few vendors in the learning system space who are really LXPs, but have no idea. Both of which are LXPs.

Product Review – Adobe Captivate Prime LMS

Streaming video backend – enabling you to upload your video and it automatically be encoded and stream back as a video module. Adobe sees the system as a LMS with LCMS features. I’m not sure about the LCMS angle. . I mean how can the vendor know what is needed. Skills map on home learner page.
