Laptop, wireless (sponsored by easygenerator!) I had a meeting with Aaron Silvers (from ADL) and Tim Rustici (from Rustici software) about Project Tin Can. Allowing collaboration on courses, include social media; giving us a language to talk to learning management systems, in short it will lift the limitations that Scorm gives us.

Project TinCan was a research by Rustici software (sponsored by ADL) into the next generation Scorm. As far as I understood they will enable all kind of social inter-activities. This evening I will join a session for vendors on project TinCan. It now looks like this project will be the next Scorm standard.

Yes, it offers the social learning authoring features – robust actually, which most vendors in this space does not, but it has added task management and PENS. #7 5 easyGenerator – You can read a review of their last version on this blog. It pitches that it is a m-learning product because it supports HTML5.
