In 2017, Adobe had made a formal announcement stating that by 2020, the company would no longer support the flash player plug-in. Google and Microsoft too have announced their intention to disable the plug-in in their browsers by early next year, thus bringing the curtains down for Flash. What exactly is Flash?

The previews within captivate play perfectly (preview>project), and it’s only upon publishing and reviewing the file that I get issues. I have tried multiple file types (mp4 and flv), both input variations (event and synchronized) and multiple flash output versions (10.x x), all to no avail.

I suppose all developers are aware that the final death of Flash Player, SWF output will be there sooner than expected. As indicated in this image, never use Play Slide as Preview, only for synchronizing on the timeline. This is no longer needed: when you deactivate the playbar in CP2019, borders get deselected by default.

If Flash player is enabled in your browser, you can test this movie (SWF) online in my personal blog. In that case when opening a Captivate project, Tk fonts will be synchronized on their system. Use the Continue button to go to the next state. When all states have appeared, you’ll get a Reset button.
