Shelly Blake-Plock announced last night via LinkedIn that he would be leading a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for IEEE LTSC (Learning Technologies Standards Committee). My version: We’re glad the initial purpose of this group points toward standardization. rather than evolution. He’s pretty well informed.

In 2003, the eLearning startup I worked for shuttered its doors as our customers moved to adopt SCORM, and we had no idea how to do that. Last heard ADL calls this new standard the Experience API? (on ADL, IEEE and many people and businesses talking about this technology call it xAPI. SCORM Version 1.2
